how long will it take to receive my photos?

Editing your photos is my TOP priority, so I’m MEGA fast! Wedding galleries may even be done before your honeymoon is over, and portrait galleries within days. All-in-all my turn around time is normally under a week. But JUST in case of some sort of medical emergency, remember that I am human so I will say 2 weeks to be safe.

Do you have a second shooter for weddings?

YES, you are more than welcome to add on a second shooter! Think of booking a second shooter the same way you would as purchasing insurance on an expensive item. Having two photographers on your wedding day is handy for having eyes in two places and in case of camera failure. There are some other things you can take into consideration when deciding whether or not to book a second photographer such as… If everything is in one place then you probably don’t. Or, if the guest list is under 200, again, probably not. The occasion in which a second shooter is truly “needed” is if you are hoping to have a photographer in two different places during the same time frame.

Do you offer VIdeography?

Another huge YES!!! Check our films and get more information here!

Do you deliver every photo you take?

My shutter is clicking A LOT! My passion is capturing moments and expressions in a photograph, and to do that, I take a lot of photos you’ll love… but also a lot you wouldn’t - blinking, sneezing, weird faces, etc. During my process, I simply eliminate anything wonky and deliver the rest to you.

Do you meet with clients before booking?

Photographing 70+ weddings per year leaves me little downtime. And, I’m extremely dedicated to providing prompt service for my booked clients. So, typically, no. Unless it’s slow season (Jan-March) in which case, possibly. However, if you want to make sure we JIVE, we can set up a phone call pre-booking.

Do you post social media previews?

This answer is similar to the previous one. With our current volume I prefer to focus my time on a fast turnaround time on your full gallery, and, being able to respond to emails in a timely manner. That said, I do try to avoid social media as much as I can because, for me, it can easily become a distraction that leads to me losing valuable time. And, I find it SO hard to choose which photos I love most because I tend to love them all. So, there’s that. But, hey- you’ll probably have your photos back before you’re back from your honeymoon so the wait will be worth it!

Have you shot at our venue before?

We’ve got quite a few weddings under our belt in the Pittsburgh area, so we most likely have! However, if we have not, there’s nothing to worry about! A huge part of our job as wedding photographers is to walk into any situation and find the most flattering light, angles, and composition in seconds. Plus, we always show up early to scope out the haps!

How far in advance should we booK?

May-November is our busy season each year, and Saturday dates typically book a year in advance during these months. Friday and Sunday weddings tend to have more availability, however, we can book up to 3 weddings per day, either way, I wouldn’t delay!

what is the retainer fee to book?

We require a $750 retainer fee. This fee is applied towards your total package price.

what is a full-print release?

A full print release means that you have the right to reproduce (print) the images as you please, and the images will not contain a watermark.

how will i receive my files?

We use a digital system called Pic-time to deliver your files as soon as your images are ready. The gallery is sent via email and is easy to navigate. You are able to download your files and buy prints or products directly from the website!
